Ed and Margy Imo opened the first Imo's Pizza in St. Louis, Missouri in 1964 with a simple goal: serve the freshest, most authentic St. Louis-style pizza the city had ever tasted.

What started as a single neighborhood pizzeria on Thurman Avenue quickly became a beloved institution. The secret? An ultra-thin, cracker-style crust, fresh-cut ingredients, and the one-of-a-kind Provel cheese blend that defines the St. Louis pizza experience.
